You may quote it, summarise it and cite it. We checked each fact below against the ZeroStake app. ## Summary ZeroStake is a paper trading app for Indian markets. You trade NSE, BSE and MCX instruments with virtual money, using charts, option chains, Historical Replay and a Trade Journal. - Category: paper trading app, virtual trading app, stock market simulator, trading simulator. - Country: India. - Platforms: Android 7.0 or later (Google Play). iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later (App Store). - Starting balance: ₹5 lakh of virtual money. - Website: https://zerostake.app - Download: https://zerostake.app/get/ - Support: support@zerostake.in ## Boundary ZeroStake is a simulator. Orders use virtual money and never reach an exchange or a broker. By default, an order fills in full, at once, at the last price the app has, with no exchange queue. With LiveFill on, an order can fill in parts and at a worse price; these fills are estimates and can differ from a real exchange. Charges, margins, option metrics and P&L are estimates. ZeroStake is not a broker, is not registered with SEBI as a broker, investment adviser or research analyst, and gives no investment advice. Prices in the demos on zerostake.app are sample values, not market data. Full detail: https://zerostake.app/market-data-and-simulation-methodology/ ## Access ZeroStake has a free plan and an optional Pro plan, billed monthly or yearly through Google Play or the App Store. The app shows current plans and what each includes before purchase. This file does not list prices or trial terms. Where a tool below needs Pro, the line says so. ## Markets and instruments - NSE and BSE: stocks, indices, futures and options. - MCX: commodity futures and options. - Index option chains (5): NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCAP SELECT, SENSEX. - Commodity option chains (6): Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, Natural Gas, Copper, Zinc. - Not covered: crypto, forex, currency derivatives, trading in US or other foreign stocks. Global indices and world heatmaps give context only; you cannot trade them. ## Orders and positions - Order types: market, limit, stop-loss (SL), target (TGT), trailing stop-loss (TSL), after-market order (AMO), GTT. Limit, AMO, GTT and TSL need Pro. Stop-loss and target may need Pro. - Product types: intraday and delivery for stocks; intraday and till expiry for F&O. F&O positions can convert between intraday and carry forward. - A stop-loss acts as a stop-loss market (SL-M) order by default. After the trigger, it fills at the next price the app sees, which can be at, better than or worse than the trigger. - GTT (Pro): a trigger that waits up to 7 days, then places a market or a limit order. Exits: SL-M, SL-L, TGT-M, TGT-L and a trailing stop. Funds are checked only when it fires. - AMO (Pro): waits for the next open, and you can cancel it until then. - Limits: up to 20 pending orders and 20 AMO orders. - Open intraday positions are squared off near the close, with a broker-style charge. The app follows the closing auction session for F&O stocks. - Notifications when an order executes, when a target is hit and when a stop-loss triggers. - Portfolio: holdings and positions with live P&L. Exit all, exit only filtered trades, or exit selected trades. Sort, filter and group trades by journal tags. ## LiveFill (Pro) - A switch in Tools with a Trading Difficulty dial: Easy, Medium, Hard. - With LiveFill on, an order can fill in parts and at a worse price than the last price, more so on a harder level. In Open Orders, a part-filled order is marked PARTIAL and shows how much has filled and at what price. Each order shows its LiveFill level. - Purpose: practice with the friction real trading has, so a strategy does not look better than it will trade. The app recommends Medium or Hard. - LiveFill fills are estimates and can differ from a real exchange. ## Basket orders - Option Chain basket: pick strikes and send the legs together. - Saved baskets (Pro): up to 5 baskets of up to 10 legs each. Mix stocks, futures and options; choose the product per leg. - Each leg can carry a stop-loss, a target and a trailing stop, as a price or a percentage. - Baskets execute at market price. ## Trade on Chart - Buy or sell from the chart at market, or set a limit entry line. - Tap the position on the chart and drag its stop-loss and target handles to your levels. Turn the stop into a trailing stop in the stop-loss dialog: tap the SL pill, tap its pencil, turn on Trailing SL, set the rule (when LTP moves by one amount, trail SL by another), then Save SL. The same dialog opens when you drag a new stop, and "Use on new SLs" applies the rule to new stops. - Tap the symbol name to switch the chart to another index or MCX commodity, spot or futures. The option chart below picks the at-the-money strike. - Shows P&L, required margin, lots, average entry and positions. - Layouts: two stacked charts (the index or futures on top, its option below) or one chart. - Works for NSE and BSE stocks, indices, futures and options, and MCX futures and options. - Page: https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/ ## Watchlists and stock details - Watchlists with a private note on any scrip. Free: 5 stocks. Pro: up to 10 watchlists of 20 stocks each. - Stock details: price data, fundamentals, yearly and quarterly financials, shareholding pattern and a company overview. The cards can be reordered. - Market depth: the buy and sell split on every account. Detailed bid and ask levels need Pro. ## Option Chain - Columns to choose from: OI, change in OI, volume, IV, delta, theta, gamma, vega, rho, bid, ask, bid and ask size, LTP change, high, low, intrinsic value, time value, breakeven, PCR, buildup, support and resistance, interpretation. - Free columns: OI, IV, the Greeks, volume, support and resistance, interpretation. The other columns need Pro. - OI summary: total and change in OI for calls and puts, PCR, and a sentiment label from Bearish to Bullish. Max pain. One tap recentres the chain on the at-the-money (ATM) strike. - Pick strikes and send them as a basket (free accounts: up to 3 legs). - Page: https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/ ## Strategy Builder (Pro) - A strategy library sorted by view: bullish, bearish, neutral, volatility. - Strategies include bull and bear spreads with calls or puts, long and short straddles, strangles and iron condors, and the iron butterfly. - Underlyings: NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX by default, and any underlying with listed options on NSE, BSE or MCX. - Outputs: payoff, best and worst outcome, estimated probability of profit, net premium, breakevens, delta, theta, gamma, vega. These are model estimates, not forecasts. - What if: change the target price, the target date or IV and see the payoff change. - Send the strategy as a basket. Free accounts see a preview. - Page: https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/ ## Historical Replay - Past NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX sessions, in futures or options mode, played candle by candle. - Candle intervals: 1, 3, 5, 15 and 30 minutes, and 1, 2 and 4 hours. - Speed: a slider from 1x to 24x (free up to 5x). Pause and rewind to an earlier candle. - Buy and sell with a stop-loss and a target. Chart source: spot or futures. - 14 indicator types: SMA, EMA, VWAP, RSI, Supertrend, Bollinger Bands, MACD, Stochastic, ATR, Pivot Points, Parabolic SAR, Ichimoku, HMA, EMA Cross. - Positions sheet: active and closed positions, average entry, realized P&L, trades, win rate, wins and losses. When a position closes in full, the replay pauses and this sheet opens. - Replay positions stay inside Replay and clear when the user leaves. They never change the main portfolio or P&L. - The user places every trade by hand. Replay trains decisions; it is not backtesting. - Replay is free. Pro adds higher speeds, more lots per order (10 against 2) and all available dates. - Page: https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/ ## Analyze tab - Tiles the user can reorder: Option Chain, Strategy Builder, Basket Orders, Trade Journal, P&L Statement, Today's Market, Advance Decline Ratio, Market Heatmap, Global Indices, FII DII Data. - Today's Market: top gainers, top losers, volume shockers, most traded, 52-week high, 52-week low. Universes: all stocks, Nifty 100, Nifty 500, Midcap 100, Smallcap 100. - Advance-decline: NSE or BSE, by sector, as a heatmap or a list. - Heatmaps for 16 markets. Values may be slightly delayed. - FII and DII data: daily figures for cash, index F&O and stock F&O, each day marked bullish, bearish or neutral. Not intraday. - Page: https://zerostake.app/analyze/ ## P&L Statement - Tabs: Combined, Equity, F&O. Date filters from Today to Overall, plus a custom range. Free accounts see Combined and Overall; the other tabs and ranges need Pro. - Measures include net and gross P&L, charges, win rate, average profit and loss, profit factor, expectancy, day win rate, best and worst day and trade, max drawdown, win and loss streaks, average holding time, turnover, calls against puts, a cumulative P&L curve and a P&L calendar. - Include or exclude brokerage with one switch. - Share a picture of chosen sections, or save it to the phone. - Ask AI: copies a ready prompt and shares the statement data, through the phone's share sheet, to an AI app the user chooses. - Page: https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/ ## Trade Journal - Review closed trades with questions, colour-coded tags and notes. A review inbox (Trades to Review) with streaks, daily reviews with a calendar, Tag Insights (win rate and P&L by tag) and Day insights. - Ways to journal: one closed trade from the review inbox or its trade sheet, tags on several selected trades at once, and one daily review for the whole day. - Free: 3 default questions, 5 default tags, 200-character notes. A Market Timings screen shows session and closing auction times. - First run: a short quiz, then a guided first trade on a practice chart. Most losses start with no exit plan. Trade on Chart puts your stop-loss and target on the chart, where you can see them. 1. #### Place the trade You pick the symbol above the chart, then buy under it at the market price. The position opens, and its P&L starts to move. 2. #### Set SL and TGT You drag the stop-loss and the target to your levels. Your risk and your reward are on the chart before the price moves. 3. #### Trail the stop You tap the pencil on the stop-loss, turn on Trailing SL and save. The price moves your way, and the stop follows it up. 4. #### Close and review The price reaches your target, and the trade closes. It lands in your journal with its P&L and charges. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### Is ZeroStake free? Yes. You can download ZeroStake and trade with virtual money for free. Some tools, such as LiveFill and the Strategy Builder, need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. The app shows what each plan includes before you buy. #### Do I need a demat account or a broker? No. ZeroStake uses virtual money, so you need no demat account, no broker and no bank details. No order reaches an exchange, and you cannot win or lose real money. #### Are the prices in the app live? During market hours, ZeroStake follows market prices. A price can arrive late or differ slightly from your broker, so check with your broker before you trade real money. FII and DII data comes once a day. #### What is LiveFill? LiveFill adds the friction of real trading to your practice. Turn it on and pick a Trading Difficulty: Easy, Medium or Hard. Your orders can then fill in parts and at a worse price, more so on a harder level. LiveFill is part of ZeroStake Pro. LiveFill: Trading Difficulty is set to Medium, then a buy order in Open Orders fills in parts and moves to Executed. #### Can I practise with past market sessions? Yes, at any hour. Historical Replay plays a real past NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY or SENSEX session candle by candle, at up to 24x. You buy and sell with a stop-loss and a target, and the positions sheet shows your realized P&L, win rate, wins and losses. Historical Replay: a past session plays fast, a buy, a sell, then the Replay Positions sheet shows the result. #### Does it work on iPhone and Android? Yes. Get it on Google Play for Android 7.0 or later, or on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later. Open zerostake.app/get on your phone, and it picks the right store. ### Make your next mistake here, not in your demat account. You tap the symbol name and pick a new index. 2. You buy one lot at the market price. 3. You tap the position, then drag the stop-loss below the entry. 4. You drag the target to the level you planned. 5. You tap the stop-loss and its pencil, then turn on Trailing SL. 6. You set the trail rule and tap Save SL. 7. The price climbs, and the trailing stop follows it up. 8. The price reaches the target, and the trade closes. 9. The closed trade shows its P&L and charges. Coverage: NSE and BSE stocks, indices, futures and options, and MCX futures and options. Some order tools need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. ### What you can do - #### Trade from the chart Tap Buy or Sell under the candles, or set a limit entry line at your price. - #### Drag your exits Drag the stop-loss and target handles to your levels, and move them when the plan changes. - #### Trail the stop Tap the pencil on the stop-loss, turn on Trailing SL and set how far the stop moves each time the price moves your way. - #### Watch two charts Stack the index or futures chart over its option chart, or show one chart alone. Tap the symbol name to switch. - #### Read the position See open P&L, average entry, lots and the margin the trade needs while it runs. - #### Set a GTT Place a GTT trigger that waits up to 7 days, with stop-loss and target exits at market or at a limit. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### How does a stop-loss fill in ZeroStake? By default, the stop works like a stop-loss market (SL-M) order. When the price touches your trigger, the exit fills at the next price, which can be past the trigger. GTT orders also offer a stop-loss limit (SL-L). #### Can a fill come at a worse price than the one I see? Yes, when you turn on LiveFill. Orders can then fill in parts and at a worse price, more so on a harder Trading Difficulty level. With LiveFill off, an order fills in full at the last price. #### What is a trailing stop-loss? A trailing stop-loss moves your stop with the price when the trade goes your way. It never moves back. In ZeroStake, tap the stop-loss on the chart, tap its pencil and turn on Trailing SL. #### Can I use Trade on Chart for options and MCX? Yes. Open the chart for an index or stock option, a future or an MCX contract, and trade it the same way. #### Where do my closed chart trades go? They go to Orders, Portfolio and your P&L Statement. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### Is the probability of profit a prediction? No. It is an estimate from an options pricing model, today's price and implied volatility. It shows the odds as they look now, not what the market will do. #### Which option strategies can I build? Bull and bear spreads with calls or puts, long and short straddles, strangles and iron condors, and the iron butterfly. You can also pick strikes by hand in the Option Chain and send them as a basket. #### Can I paper trade MCX options? Yes. The Option Chain covers Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, Natural Gas, Copper and Zinc on MCX. #### Do I need to know the Greeks to start? No. Start with one call or one put and watch the premium move. The glossary explains delta, gamma, theta and vega in plain words. ### Keep reading - [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/): Read OI, change in OI, IV, the Greeks, PCR and max pain on index and MCX option chains. - [NIFTY and BANK NIFTY paper trading](https://zerostake.app/nifty-banknifty-paper-trading/): Paper trade NIFTY 50 and BANK NIFTY futures and options, today or in replay. - [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/): Trade past NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX F&O sessions again, candle by candle. - [Glossary](https://zerostake.app/glossary/): Plain definitions of trading terms, from stop-loss to max pain. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### What does buildup mean in an option chain? Buildup compares the price change with the OI change. Price up with OI up is long buildup. Price down with OI up is short buildup. Price up with OI down is short covering, and price down with OI down is long unwinding. #### Does a high PCR mean the market will go up? Not on its own. A high PCR means more put OI than call OI. Traders read it in different ways, so use it as one input with price and OI. #### Which option chains does ZeroStake have? NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCAP SELECT and SENSEX, plus MCX Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, Natural Gas, Copper and Zinc. #### Can I trade straight from the option chain? Yes. See how it works, what a good one needs and how ZeroStake covers NSE, BSE and MCX. URL: https://zerostake.app/paper-trading-app-india/ Updated: 2026-10-08 Guide ## Paper trading app for India: how it works and what to look for A paper trading app lets you buy and sell Indian stocks, futures and options with virtual money while you follow market prices. You learn orders, exits and risk without losing real money. ZeroStake is a paper trading app for NSE, BSE and MCX, with Trade on Chart, option chains, Historical Replay and a Trade Journal. ### Key facts - Paper trading means practice trades with virtual money. - ZeroStake covers NSE and BSE stocks, indices and F&O, plus MCX futures and options. - Option chains: NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCAP SELECT, SENSEX and 6 MCX commodities. - Historical Replay runs past NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX sessions at up to 24x. - By default orders fill in full at the last price. LiveFill adds partial fills and worse prices. - ZeroStake is on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. ### What is a paper trading app? A paper trading app is a practice account for the stock market. It gives you virtual money and market prices. You place orders, hold positions and close them, as you would with a broker. The difference: no real money moves, and no order reaches an exchange. The name comes from the old habit of writing trades on paper. An app tracks every order, every exit and every rupee of virtual P&L for you. ### Why paper trade before you use real money? Most new traders learn with their first real trades. That is the most expensive way to learn. A paper trading app lets you make the beginner mistakes first, while they cost nothing. Paper trading helps you: - Learn how market, limit and after-market orders behave. - Practise placing a [stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#stop-loss) and a target before every trade. - Understand lot sizes, [margin](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#margin) and how fast options move. - Test a setup on many trades before you trust it. - Build a record that shows your real habits. ### What should a paper trading app for India have? A good app for Indian markets must speak the language of Indian markets. Use this table as a checklist. | What to check | Why it matters | In ZeroStake | | --- | --- | --- | | NSE, BSE and MCX coverage | You want to practise what you plan to trade | NSE and BSE stocks, indices and F&O, plus MCX contracts | | Indian order types | Real accounts use market, limit, AMO and GTT | Market, limit, stop-loss, target, AMO and GTT orders | | Product types | Intraday and delivery behave differently | Intraday, delivery and F&O | | Exit tools | Most losses come from bad exits | Stop-loss and target handles on the chart, and a [trailing stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#trailing-stop-loss) | | Option chain | F&O traders need OI, IV and Greeks | 5 index chains and 6 MCX chains with OI, IV, Greeks, PCR and [max pain](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#max-pain) | | Strategy tools | Multi-leg trades need a payoff view | [Strategy Builder](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/) with the payoff, best and worst outcome and breakevens | | Honest fills | A perfect fill every time flatters you | LiveFill: partial fills and worse prices, on Easy, Medium or Hard | | Past sessions | You can practise more days than the calendar gives you | [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/) at up to 24x | | Review | Practice without review teaches little | P&L stats and a [Trade Journal](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/) | Some of these tools need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. ### Paper trading vs real trading: what is different? Paper trading copies the decisions of trading. It cannot copy every part of a real market. Know the gaps, so you learn the right lessons. The [methodology page](https://zerostake.app/market-data-and-simulation-methodology/) lists each one. | Area | Paper trading | Real trading | | --- | --- | --- | | Money at risk | Virtual money only | Your own money | | Order route | Stays in the app | Goes through a broker to the exchange | | Fills | In full at the last price by default, or harder with LiveFill | Depends on the queue, liquidity and [slippage](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#slippage) | | Charges | Worked out from your settings | Shown on the broker contract note | | Emotions | Calmer, because nothing real is at stake | Fear and greed are strong | | Purpose | Build skill and habits | Earn or lose real money | The emotional gap matters most. A loss of virtual money feels small. So trade the size you would trade with real money, and follow your rules as if they cost you. ### How do you start paper trading in ZeroStake? 1. Download ZeroStake from Google Play or the App Store. 2. Add two or three instruments to a watchlist. 3. Open one in [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/). 4. Decide your entry, stop-loss and target before you tap Buy or Sell. 5. Place the order and drag your SL and TGT handles into place. 6. Let the trade run to your stop or your target. 7. Write a short journal note on what you did and why. Repeat this for twenty trades before you change anything. One trade is noise. Twenty start to show a habit. ### How long should you paper trade? There is no fixed time. Paper trade until three things are true. You follow your rules on almost every trade. Your P&L review shows a positive [expectancy](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#expectancy) over many trades. And you can explain every loss in your journal. For many traders, this takes a few weeks of steady practice. Historical Replay can shorten it, because you can trade several past sessions in one evening. Then turn on LiveFill at Medium or Hard, and check that your numbers hold with harder fills. When you are ready for real money, open an account with a SEBI-registered broker of your choice. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### Is paper trading legal in India? Yes. Paper trading moves no real money and places no orders on an exchange. It is practice, like a flight simulator. #### Do I need a demat account to paper trade? No. A paper trading app like ZeroStake needs no demat or trading account. You only download the app. #### Do paper trading results match real trading? Not exactly. By default, a paper fill has no exchange queue and fills in full, and charges are estimates. LiveFill in ZeroStake adds partial fills and worse prices. Use paper results to build skill, not as proof of future profit. #### Which paper trading app covers F&O in India? ZeroStake covers index and stock futures and options on NSE and BSE, plus MCX contracts, with an Option Chain and a Strategy Builder. ### Keep reading - [Virtual trading app India](https://zerostake.app/virtual-trading-app-india/): How virtual trading works in India and what to look for in an app. - [Stock market simulator India](https://zerostake.app/stock-market-simulator-india/): How a stock market simulator works for NSE, BSE and MCX practice. - [Beginner guide](https://zerostake.app/virtual-trading-for-beginners-india/): Your first virtual trade in India, step by step, with the words you need. - [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/): Buy or sell from the chart, drag your stop-loss and target into place, and trail the stop. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. Your orders stay inside the app, so you can learn without risk to your savings. ZeroStake is a virtual trading app for NSE, BSE and MCX, built around exits, options, replay and review. ### Key facts - Virtual trading and paper trading mean the same thing: practice trades with virtual money. - ZeroStake starts you with ₹5 lakh of virtual money. ZeroStake Pro can set any amount from ₹10 to ₹10 crore. - Orders: market, limit, stop-loss, target, AMO and GTT. Products: intraday, delivery and F&O. - Exits: stop-loss and target handles on the chart, and a trailing stop-loss. - Net P&L subtracts estimated brokerage, taxes and other charges. ### What is a virtual trading app? A virtual trading app is a trading account that uses virtual money. You see market prices, place orders and manage positions. Your gains and losses exist only in the app. In India, people also call it a paper trading app, a demo trading app or a stock market simulator. The idea is the same in each case. ### How does virtual money work? The app gives you a balance of virtual money. Each buy order takes money from that balance, and each sale returns it with the profit or the loss. Futures and short options block [margin](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#margin), as they would in a real account. ZeroStake starts you with ₹5 lakh. With ZeroStake Pro, you can set any amount from ₹10 to ₹10 crore. Set it to the size you plan to trade with real money. A practice account of ₹1 crore teaches you nothing about a real account of ₹50,000. ### What can you practise in a virtual trading app? Match each practice goal to a tool. This keeps your sessions short and focused. | Practice goal | What to use in ZeroStake | | --- | --- | | Place your first orders | Watchlist and [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/), with market or limit entry | | Plan exits | SL and TGT handles on the chart | | Protect a winner | [Trailing stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#trailing-stop-loss) | | Learn options | [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/) with OI, IV and Greeks | | Trade a strategy | [Strategy Builder](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/) and a multi-leg basket | | Practise with harder fills | LiveFill on Medium or Hard | | Practise after hours | [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/), or an AMO for the next open | | Find your weak spots | P&L review and [Trade Journal](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/) tags | Some of these tools need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. ### How do you get real value from virtual trading? Virtual trading is only as useful as the rules you follow. These five rules make it count. 1. Trade the same size you would trade with real money. 2. Write the entry, [stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#stop-loss) and target before you place the order. 3. Never move a stop-loss further away once the trade is live. 4. Log every closed trade in the journal, wins and losses alike. 5. Review your stats every week, not after every trade. The fifth rule matters more than it looks. One trade is noise. Twenty trades show a habit. ### What mistakes do people make with virtual money? **Trading too big.** Virtual money feels easy to spend. People take positions ten times larger than they ever would for real. The lessons do not transfer. **Ignoring charges.** Small intraday profits can vanish after brokerage and taxes. Look at net P&L, not gross P&L. **Skipping the stop-loss.** With no real loss, it is easy to hold and hope. That habit is the most costly one to carry into a real account. **Chasing a high win rate.** A 70 percent win rate can still lose money if the losses are big. Watch [profit factor](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#profit-factor) and [expectancy](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#expectancy) as well. **Practising on perfect fills.** When every order fills at once at the last price, a fast strategy looks easy. Turn on LiveFill and see if it still works. **Never reviewing.** A hundred trades without review are only a hundred trades. The Trade Journal turns them into lessons. ### How is ZeroStake different from a broker demo? A broker builds its app for real orders. ZeroStake exists only for practice, so the practice tools come first. You get exits you drag on the chart, LiveFill, a full Option Chain and a Strategy Builder. You also get Historical Replay and a P&L review with a journal. The [Analyze tab](https://zerostake.app/analyze/) adds market context: heatmaps, breadth, global indices and daily FII and DII data. ### When should you move to real money? Move when your virtual record earns it. Look for a positive expectancy over at least fifty trades. Check that you followed your stop-loss on nearly every one. Make sure your journal explains your losses. When you do switch, start small. Real money brings real emotions, and they need practice too. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### What is the difference between virtual trading and paper trading? There is none in practice. Both mean trading with virtual money at market prices. #### Can I win real money in a virtual trading app? No. ZeroStake has no real money, no cash prizes and no withdrawals. The only thing you take away is skill. #### How much virtual money should I use? Use the amount you plan to trade with for real. Practice with a huge balance teaches habits that do not fit a small account. #### Is a virtual trading app good for options beginners? Yes. Options move fast and decay with time. A virtual account lets you feel that before it costs you. ### Keep reading - [Paper trading app India](https://zerostake.app/paper-trading-app-india/): What a paper trading app does and how to use one for Indian markets. - [Practise without real money](https://zerostake.app/practice-trading-without-real-money/): A practice plan for stocks, F&O and commodities with virtual money. - [Options paper trading](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/): Practise NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX options with the Option Chain, Strategy Builder and baskets. - [P&L and Trade Journal](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/): P&L Statement, Tag Insights and a Trade Journal for every closed trade. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. Learn how one works and how ZeroStake fills orders. URL: https://zerostake.app/stock-market-simulator-india/ Updated: 2026-10-08 Guide ## Stock market simulator for India: how it works A stock market simulator copies the trading experience with virtual money. You place orders on today's market or replay a past session, and the simulator tracks fills, positions and P&L. ZeroStake is a stock market simulator for NSE, BSE and MCX, with option chains, exits on the chart and Historical Replay. ### Key facts - Two ways to practise in ZeroStake: today's market, or a past session in Historical Replay. - Replay covers past NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX futures and options sessions. - By default orders fill in full at the last price. With LiveFill on, they can fill in parts and at a worse price. - By default, a stop-loss acts like an SL-M order: it fills at the next price after the trigger. - The methodology page lists every way practice differs from a real exchange. ### What is a stock market simulator? A stock market simulator is software that lets you trade without real money. It shows you market prices and accepts your orders. Then it decides when each order fills, tracks your open positions and keeps your P&L. A good simulator feels like a real trading app. The screens, order types and exits should match what you will use later. Otherwise you practise the wrong habits. ### How does a stock market simulator work? Every simulator does four jobs. 1. **Show prices.** It follows market prices for the instruments it covers. 2. **Take orders.** You choose buy or sell, quantity, order type and product type. 3. **Fill orders.** It checks each order against the price and fills it when the rules say so. 4. **Keep records.** It updates your virtual money, positions, holdings and P&L. In ZeroStake, a market order fills in full at the last price the app has, by default. A limit order waits until the price reaches your level. A [stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#stop-loss) works like a stop-loss market (SL-M) order: when the price touches the trigger, the exit fills at the next price. That price can be at, above or below your trigger, as it can be with a broker. ### Today’s market or a past session? ZeroStake gives you two kinds of practice. Each one trains something different. | Compare | Today’s market | Historical Replay | | --- | --- | --- | | What you trade | NSE, BSE and MCX instruments | Past NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX F&O sessions | | Speed | The pace of the real day | 1x up to 24x, with pause | | When you can practise | During market hours, plus AMO for the next open | Any time | | Good for | Order habits, patience, decisions at the pace of a real day | Many sessions in a short time, setup practice | | Records | Orders, Portfolio, P&L and [Trade Journal](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/) | Replay positions and session P&L, kept apart | Use both. Trade today’s market to learn patience. Use replay to see more setups in a week than the calendar shows you in a month. ### What does ZeroStake cover? ZeroStake covers the full path of a trade. Some tools need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. - **Instruments:** NSE and BSE stocks, indices, futures and options, plus MCX futures and options. - **Orders:** market, limit, stop-loss, target, AMO and GTT orders. - **Products:** intraday, delivery and F&O. - **Exits:** stop-loss and target handles you drag on the chart, and a [trailing stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#trailing-stop-loss). - **Fills:** in full at the last price by default, or harder with LiveFill on Easy, Medium or Hard. - **Options:** an [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/) for 5 indices and 6 MCX commodities. A [Strategy Builder](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/) for any underlying with listed options. - **Costs:** estimated brokerage, taxes and other charges on every trade. - **Review:** gross and net P&L, win rate, [profit factor](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#profit-factor), [expectancy](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#expectancy), drawdown, streaks and a Trade Journal. ### What can a simulator not copy? No simulator copies a real exchange exactly. These are the main gaps. - **Queue position.** On an exchange, your limit order waits behind others at the same price. In a simulator, it fills when the price reaches it. - **Partial fills.** A large real order may fill in parts. In ZeroStake, an order fills in full by default. Turn on LiveFill to practise with partial fills. - **Slippage in fast markets.** Real prices can jump past your stop. A ZeroStake stop fills at the next price it sees. With LiveFill on, any order can also fill at a worse price. - **Your emotions.** Fear and greed are stronger when the money is real. Read the full list on the [methodology page](https://zerostake.app/market-data-and-simulation-methodology/). Knowing the gaps keeps your expectations honest. ### How do you choose a stock market simulator? Check four things before you commit time to any simulator. 1. It covers the instruments you plan to trade, including F&O if you trade options. 2. It has the same order and exit types as your future broker. 3. It counts charges, so your net P&L means something. 4. It gives you a review tool, so practice turns into learning. ZeroStake meets all four for Indian markets. It runs on Android, iPhone and iPad. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### How do I get the most from a stock market simulator? Set rules before each trade, trade your real size and review every closed trade. A simulator teaches only what you measure. #### Can a simulator show how my trades would fill on the exchange? Only roughly. By default, ZeroStake fills at the last price with no exchange queue. LiveFill adds partial fills and worse prices, but no simulator copies the exchange exactly. The methodology page explains each gap. #### Can I practise commodity trading in ZeroStake? Yes. You can trade MCX futures and options, and read option chains for Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, Natural Gas, Copper and Zinc. ### Keep reading - [How the simulator works](https://zerostake.app/market-data-and-simulation-methodology/): How ZeroStake fills orders, what LiveFill changes, how charges are estimated and where practice differs from real trading. - [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/): Trade past NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX F&O sessions again, candle by candle. - [Paper trading app India](https://zerostake.app/paper-trading-app-india/): What a paper trading app does and how to use one for Indian markets. - [Analyze](https://zerostake.app/analyze/): Today's Market, advance-decline, heatmaps for India and world markets, global indices and daily FII and DII data. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. URL: https://zerostake.app/practice-trading-without-real-money/ Updated: 2026-10-08 Guide ## How to practise trading without real money To practise trading without real money, use a paper trading app with clear rules and a weekly review. Trade Indian stocks, futures and options with virtual money, set every stop-loss before you enter and journal each trade. This 4 week plan uses ZeroStake to build those habits. ### Key facts - Practise with virtual money in a paper trading app such as ZeroStake. - Trade the size you would trade with real money. - Set the stop-loss and target before every entry. - Use Historical Replay to practise more sessions than the calendar gives you. - Review your stats weekly: win rate, profit factor, expectancy and drawdown. ### Can you learn to trade without real money? Yes. You can learn most of the skills of trading with virtual money. You learn how orders work, where to put a [stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#stop-loss), how options react to time and price, and how your own habits affect your P&L. What you cannot fully learn is the feeling of real loss. So the goal of practice is to make your process automatic. Then, when real money arrives, your rules carry you. ### What do you need to start? You need three things. 1. **A paper trading app** that covers what you plan to trade. ZeroStake covers NSE, BSE and MCX instruments. 2. **A written trading plan**: what you trade, when you enter, where you exit and how much you risk. 3. **A review habit**: one fixed time each week to read your stats and your journal. Some tools in this plan, such as limit orders and AMO, need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. ### The 4 week practice plan Each week adds one skill. Do not skip ahead: each step builds on the last one. | Week | Focus | What you do in ZeroStake | Goal by the end | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | Orders | Trade 2 or 3 stocks from a watchlist with market and limit orders | You place orders without thinking about the buttons | | 2 | Exits | Set SL and TGT on every trade in [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/) | No trade without a stop-loss | | 3 | Volume of practice | Trade 3 or more past sessions in [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/) | 30 or more closed trades with the same rules | | 4 | Review | Read your P&L stats and tag every journal entry | You know your top two mistakes | #### Week 1: learn the orders Pick two or three liquid stocks. Add them to a watchlist. Place a few market orders and a few limit orders. Try one after-market order in the evening and see it go in the next morning. Keep the size small and fixed. This week is about the mechanics, not about profit. #### Week 2: put the exit first Open every trade in Trade on Chart. Before you tap Buy or Sell, decide your stop-loss and your target. After the entry, drag the SL and TGT handles to those levels. Turn the stop into a [trailing stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#trailing-stop-loss) on two or three winners. Notice how it keeps part of the gain when the price turns. #### Week 3: compress time with replay Real practice is slow, because each day gives you one session. Historical Replay fixes that. Pick a past NIFTY, BANK NIFTY or SENSEX session and play it at a higher speed. Pause when your setup appears and take the trade. Trade three or more sessions this week. Use the same rules every time. By the end, you will have more trades than most people make in a month. #### Week 4: read your numbers Open the P&L review. Look at four numbers. - **Win rate:** how often you win. - **Profit factor:** total profit over total loss. Above 1 is a start. - **Expectancy:** what you make or lose per trade, on average. - **Drawdown:** your deepest fall from a peak. Then open Tag Insights in the [Trade Journal](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/). It shows your win rate and P&L for each tag. Often one or two habits cause most of the losses. Write them down: they are your focus for the next month. ### What rules make practice count? - Trade the size you would trade with real money. - Never move a stop-loss away from the price after entry. - Close every trade before you judge it. - Journal losses with the same care as wins. - Change one thing at a time, then measure it for twenty trades. ### What comes after the plan? Repeat the plan with a new focus. Try options in month two: read the [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/), then build a simple spread in the [Strategy Builder](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/). Try MCX in month three if commodities interest you. Then turn on LiveFill at Medium and run the plan again. If your numbers hold with harder fills, you can trust them more. Move to real money only when your record earns it: positive [expectancy](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#expectancy) over fifty or more trades, and a stop-loss on nearly every one. Start real trading small. Your rules are ready, but your nerves need practice too. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### Can I practise trading without opening a demat account? Yes. A paper trading app needs no demat or trading account. You download the app and start with virtual money. #### How many practice trades should I make before real trading? Aim for at least fifty closed trades with the same rules. That is enough to read your win rate, expectancy and drawdown with some confidence. #### Is practice with virtual money the same as real trading? No. By default, fills are simpler, and emotions are always weaker. LiveFill makes fills harder, but nothing makes virtual money feel real. Practice builds process; real money then tests it under pressure. ### Keep reading - [Beginner guide](https://zerostake.app/virtual-trading-for-beginners-india/): Your first virtual trade in India, step by step, with the words you need. - [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/): Trade past NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX F&O sessions again, candle by candle. - [P&L and Trade Journal](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/): P&L Statement, Tag Insights and a Trade Journal for every closed trade. - [Paper trading app India](https://zerostake.app/paper-trading-app-india/): What a paper trading app does and how to use one for Indian markets. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. Read the option chain, build strategies and replay past sessions in ZeroStake. URL: https://zerostake.app/nifty-banknifty-paper-trading/ Updated: 2026-10-08 Guide ## NIFTY and BANK NIFTY paper trading You can paper trade NIFTY 50 and BANK NIFTY futures and options in ZeroStake with virtual money. Read each Option Chain, build spreads or straddles in the Strategy Builder, set exits on the chart and replay past sessions at up to 24x. You learn index F&O before you risk real money. ### Key facts - Trade NIFTY 50 and BANK NIFTY futures and options with virtual money. - Option Chain shows OI, change in OI, IV, Greeks, PCR and max pain. - Strategy Builder covers NIFTY, BANK NIFTY, SENSEX and any underlying with listed options. - Historical Replay plays past NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX F&O sessions at up to 24x. - FINNIFTY, MIDCAP SELECT and SENSEX option chains are also in the app. ### Can you paper trade NIFTY and BANK NIFTY? Yes. ZeroStake lets you trade NIFTY 50 and BANK NIFTY futures and options with virtual money. You use the tools an index trader uses: a chart, an option chain, a strategy builder and exits on the chart. No order reaches the exchange, so a bad trade costs you nothing but a lesson. Some tools in this guide, such as the Strategy Builder, need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. ### NIFTY 50 vs BANK NIFTY: what is the difference? Both are NSE indices with busy futures and options markets. They behave in different ways, so practise each one on its own. | Compare | NIFTY 50 | BANK NIFTY | | --- | --- | --- | | What it tracks | 50 large companies across sectors | The largest Indian bank stocks | | Character | Broader, often steadier | One sector, often faster swings | | [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/) in ZeroStake | Yes | Yes | | [Strategy Builder](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/) | Yes | Yes | | [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/) | Futures and options | Futures and options | Because BANK NIFTY rests on one sector, bank news can move it hard. Practise smaller size on it until you know its pace. ### How do you paper trade NIFTY futures? 1. Search for NIFTY and pick the futures contract. 2. Open it in [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/). 3. Mark your entry, [stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#stop-loss) and target on the chart. 4. Check the [lot size](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#lot-size) and the [margin](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#margin) the trade needs. 5. Tap Buy or Sell, then drag the SL and TGT handles into place. 6. Turn the stop into a [trailing stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#trailing-stop-loss) if the trade moves your way. Futures move point for point with the index. One lot carries real size, so the stop-loss matters even more than with stocks. ### How do you paper trade NIFTY and BANK NIFTY options? Start from the Option Chain. One tap recentres it on the at-the-money (ATM) strike. 1. Pick NIFTY 50 or BANK NIFTY and choose the expiry. 2. Read OI and change in OI on both sides of the ATM strike. 3. Check IV. High IV makes options expensive. 4. Tap a premium to open the contract and view its chart. 5. Buy or sell, and set your exits. For a multi-leg trade, open the Strategy Builder. Pick a ready structure such as a bull call spread, a straddle or an iron condor. Check the payoff, the worst outcome and the breakevens. Then send all legs as one basket at market price. ### What should you watch in the option chain? | Column or number | What it tells you | | --- | --- | | OI | Where traders hold the most open contracts | | Change in OI | Where positions grow or shrink today | | IV | How expensive the options are | | Delta | How much the premium moves for each index point | | Theta | How much premium you lose each day | | PCR | The balance of put OI against call OI | | Max pain | The strike where option buyers as a group lose the most | None of these predicts the next move alone. Use them together to understand where traders stand. ### How does replay help index traders? Index options punish slow learning. Expiry days, gap openings and sharp reversals come only a few times a month. Historical Replay brings them back on demand. Pick a past NIFTY or BANK NIFTY session. Choose futures or options mode. Set the candle interval from 1 minute to 4 hours, add indicators such as VWAP or Supertrend, and press play. Speed up to 24x through the quiet parts. Pause before your setup and decide. Replay positions stay inside Replay and clear when you leave, so your main P&L stays clean. ### Five habits for index F&O practice - Write your stop-loss in points before you enter. - Trade one lot until your process is steady. - Avoid holding bought options into the last hours of expiry without a plan, because theta speeds up. - Compare your calls vs puts results in the [P&L review](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/). - Tag every journal entry, so you can see which setups work for you. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### Do I need a broker account to paper trade NIFTY? No. ZeroStake needs no broker or demat account. You trade NIFTY futures and options with virtual money inside the app. #### What is the lot size of NIFTY and BANK NIFTY? Exchanges revise lot sizes from time to time. The order panel in ZeroStake shows the current lot size and margin before you confirm. #### Can I practise NIFTY options on a past expiry day? Yes, if the date is in the Historical Replay list. Pick the session, choose options mode and select your strike. #### Should I start with NIFTY or BANK NIFTY? Many beginners start with NIFTY 50, because it tracks 50 companies across sectors. BANK NIFTY tracks one sector and often swings harder. ### Keep reading - [Options paper trading](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/): Practise NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX options with the Option Chain, Strategy Builder and baskets. - [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/): Read OI, change in OI, IV, the Greeks, PCR and max pain on index and MCX option chains. - [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/): Trade past NIFTY, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX F&O sessions again, candle by candle. - [Glossary](https://zerostake.app/glossary/): Plain definitions of trading terms, from stop-loss to max pain. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. Start with virtual money. This guide walks you through your first virtual trade in India, step by step, plus the terms you need to know. URL: https://zerostake.app/virtual-trading-for-beginners-india/ Updated: 2026-10-08 Beginner guide ## Virtual trading for beginners in India Virtual trading lets a beginner learn the stock market with virtual money instead of savings. Pick one stock, decide your entry and exit, place the trade and review the result. This guide walks you through your first virtual trade in ZeroStake, step by step, with the few terms you need on day one. ### Key facts - You need no demat account to start virtual trading. - Start with one or two liquid stocks, not options. - Decide your stop-loss and target before you enter. - Write one journal note after every closed trade. - Add options, replay and analysis tools one at a time. ### What is virtual trading? Virtual trading is practice trading with virtual money. You buy and sell real Indian stocks at market prices, but no money leaves your bank. Your orders stay in the app. It is a safe place to make your first hundred mistakes. When you first open ZeroStake, a short quiz asks how you like to trade. Then a guided tutorial walks you through a first trade on a practice chart. ### What do you need before your first trade? You need only three things: - A phone with ZeroStake installed. - One stock or index you understand a little. - Ten minutes of focus. You do not need a demat account or a broker. You trade with virtual money. ### Your first virtual trade, step by step 1. **Pick one instrument.** Choose a large, liquid stock. Add it to a watchlist. 2. **Open its chart.** Tap it and open [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/). 3. **Write your reason.** In one sentence, write why you want to buy or sell. 4. **Set your exits.** Decide where you are wrong ([stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#stop-loss)) and where you take profit (target). 5. **Choose the order.** Use a market order to enter now, or a limit order to wait for your price. 6. **Pick the product.** Choose intraday to close today, or delivery to hold. 7. **Place the trade.** Tap Buy or Sell, then drag the SL and TGT handles to your levels. 8. **Let it run.** Do not move the stop-loss away from the price. 9. **Review.** When it closes, check your P&L and write a journal note. That is a full trade. Do it again tomorrow with the same rules. Some tools in this guide, such as limit orders, need ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. ### Which words should a beginner learn first? | Term | What it means | | --- | --- | | Market order | Buy or sell now at the current market price | | Limit order | Buy or sell only at your price or better | | Intraday | A trade you open and close on the same day | | Delivery | Shares you buy and hold beyond the day | | Stop-loss (SL) | The price where you exit to limit a loss | | Target (TGT) | The price where you exit to take a profit | | Trailing stop-loss (TSL) | A stop that follows the price as the trade moves your way | | P&L | Your profit and loss | | AMO | An after-market order that waits for the next session | The glossary explains more than 60 terms in the same plain style. ### What mistakes do beginners make? **No stop-loss.** A trade without a stop-loss has no plan for being wrong. Set it before you enter, every time. **Too many trades.** More trades do not mean more learning. One planned trade teaches more than ten impulse trades. **Big size.** Virtual money is easy to spend. Trade the amount you would use with real money. **Options too early.** Options move fast and lose value with time. Learn stocks first. **No review.** Without review, you repeat the same mistake. The journal makes the pattern visible. ### What should you add after the first week? Add one tool at a time, in this order: 1. **The [trailing stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#trailing-stop-loss)**, to protect winning trades. 2. **The [Analyze tab](https://zerostake.app/analyze/)**, to see heatmaps, breadth and daily FII/DII reports before you pick a stock. 3. **The [P&L review](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/)**, to read your win rate and [profit factor](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#profit-factor). 4. **[Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/)**, to practise more sessions in less time. 5. **The [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/)**, once your stock trading follows your rules. ### How do you know you are improving? Look at your process first and your profit second. Are you setting a stop-loss on every trade? Are your losses smaller than your wins? Does your journal explain each loss? When the answer to all three is yes, your practice is working. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### Is virtual trading good for beginners? Yes. It lets you learn orders, exits and risk without losing money. Treat it like real money, or the lessons will not stick. #### Should a beginner start with options? Usually not. Start with stocks to learn orders and exits. Move to options once you set a stop-loss on every trade without thinking. #### How much time do I need each day? Twenty to thirty minutes is enough. One planned trade a day, with a journal note, teaches more than ten random trades. ### Keep reading - [Practise without real money](https://zerostake.app/practice-trading-without-real-money/): A practice plan for stocks, F&O and commodities with virtual money. - [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/): Buy or sell from the chart, drag your stop-loss and target into place, and trail the stop. - [Glossary](https://zerostake.app/glossary/): Plain definitions of trading terms, from stop-loss to max pain. - [Paper trading app India](https://zerostake.app/paper-trading-app-india/): What a paper trading app does and how to use one for Indian markets. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. URL: https://zerostake.app/market-data-and-simulation-methodology/ Updated: 2026-10-08 Methodology ## How the ZeroStake simulator works, and where it differs from a real market ZeroStake follows market prices and fills your virtual orders inside the app. No order reaches an exchange or a broker. By default, an order fills in full at the last price, and LiveFill makes fills harder when you want it. Charges, margins and option metrics are estimates. This page explains each part and every way practice differs from real trading. ### Key facts - Orders use virtual money and never leave the app. - By default, an order fills in full, at once, at the last price the app has. - With LiveFill on, an order can fill in parts and at a worse price, more so on a harder level. - A stop-loss acts as SL-M by default: it fills at the next price after the trigger. - Brokerage, taxes, margins and option metrics are estimates. - FII and DII figures are daily reports, not intraday flow. ### What is ZeroStake, in one line? ZeroStake is a trading simulator for Indian markets. You trade NSE, BSE and MCX instruments with virtual money. Your orders stay inside the app. ### Where do ZeroStake prices come from? ZeroStake follows market prices for the instruments it covers. Charts, quotes, option chains, market breadth, heatmaps and global indices all use market data. Market data can be imperfect. It can arrive late, stop for a while, have gaps or change after the fact. A quote in ZeroStake can differ slightly from the exchange or from another app. The app itself notes that global indices may be slightly delayed. Some screens update on a slower schedule by design. FII and DII figures come as a daily report. They show what institutions did on a past day, not orders as they happen. Before you trade real money, confirm the price with your broker or the exchange. ### How does ZeroStake fill virtual orders? By default, ZeroStake fills each order in full, at once, at the last price the app has. There is no exchange queue. | Order | How it fills in ZeroStake | | --- | --- | | Market order | In full, at the last price the app has | | Limit order | When the price reaches your limit or better | | After-market order (AMO) | Goes in at the next open, then follows the same rules | | Stop-loss | Works as stop-loss market (SL-M): at the next price after the trigger | | Target set to market | Works as target market (TGT-M): at the price that crosses the target | | Trailing stop-loss | The trigger follows the price and never moves back. When hit, it fills like a stop-loss | | GTT | Waits up to 7 days for its trigger, then places a market or a limit order. Exits can be SL-M, SL-L, TGT-M or TGT-L | | Basket | All legs go together at market price | The trigger of a stop-loss is not a promised price. In a fast market, the next price can be past your trigger. The fill can be at the trigger, better or worse. ### What does LiveFill change? A simulator that fills every order at once, at the last price, flatters a strategy. LiveFill adds the friction that real trading has. Turn on LiveFill in Tools and pick a Trading Difficulty: | Level | What you feel | | --- | --- | | Easy | Forgiving fills | | Medium | The app’s recommended level | | Hard | Unforgiving fills | With LiveFill on, an order can fill in parts and at a worse price than the last price, more so on a harder level. You see it in Open Orders. A part-filled order says PARTIAL and shows how much has filled and at what price. Each order carries a pill with the level it ran at, for example LiveFill · Medium. We recommend Medium or Hard. Easy forgives a lot, so it can make a strategy look better than it will trade. LiveFill fills are estimates. They can differ from a real exchange. LiveFill is part of ZeroStake Pro, an optional plan in the app. LiveFill: Trading Difficulty is set to Medium, then a buy order in Open Orders fills in parts and moves to Executed. ### What does the simulation not reproduce? A real exchange matches orders in a queue, against real buyers and sellers. ZeroStake does not. So a virtual fill is not proof that a real order would fill at the same price or time. | Real exchange | ZeroStake | | --- | --- | | Your limit order waits in a queue behind others | It fills when the price reaches your limit | | Large orders can fill in parts | In full by default. In parts when LiveFill is on | | The bid-ask spread and market impact affect your price | The last price by default. With LiveFill on, the price can be worse | | Brokers run risk checks and can reject orders | App rules apply, not a broker’s risk checks | | Freeze limits and exchange rejections apply | These are not reproduced | | Network and exchange delays, outages and gaps | Not reproduced in the same way | | Real money changes how you feel and act | Virtual money feels lighter | The last row is the largest gap. Practise with your real size and real rules to keep it small. Some broker rules are there. The app squares off open intraday positions near the close, with a broker-style charge. It also follows the closing auction session for F&O stocks. ### How are charges, margins and P&L worked out? Every trade carries estimated charges: brokerage, STT or CTT, exchange transaction charges, SEBI fee, stamp duty, GST and the DP charge. Net P&L subtracts them from gross P&L. You can also leave brokerage out of your P&L with one switch. With ZeroStake Pro, you can set your own broker’s brokerage for each segment. Exchange charges, the depository fee and taxes follow official rates, and you cannot change them. Margin figures estimate what a broker would block for the trade. These figures are not contract notes, tax records, account balances or [margin](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#margin) commitments. Your broker’s numbers can differ. ### How are option metrics worked out? The [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/) shows IV, the Greeks, PCR, [max pain](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#max-pain), breakevens, support and resistance. The [Strategy Builder](https://zerostake.app/options-paper-trading-india/) adds the payoff, the best and worst outcome and the probability of profit. Some of these come straight from market data, such as OI and volume. Others come from models and the inputs you choose, such as the Greeks, the payoff and the probability of profit. Model values change when the price, IV, time or your legs change. They describe the market and your strategy as they are now. They are not forecasts and not recommendations. ### How does Historical Replay work? [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/) plays past NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY and SENSEX futures and options sessions candle by candle. You choose the date, the interval from 1 minute to 4 hours and the speed up to 24x. You place every trade by hand. Replay does not run a strategy over past data for you. It trains your decisions. Replay positions stay inside Replay and clear when you leave, so your main records never change. ### What do the review stats mean? Win rate, [profit factor](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#profit-factor), [expectancy](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#expectancy), drawdown, streaks, holding time and cumulative P&L all come from your virtual trades. They describe how you traded in practice. They do not predict future returns and do not show real-money performance. ### What should you do with this? Use ZeroStake to build skill: orders, exits, options knowledge, patience and review. Do not use virtual results as proof that a strategy will make money with real capital. When you move to real trading, start small, and use a SEBI-registered broker of your choice. ### Questions, answered. [Read all questions](https://zerostake.app/faq/) #### Does ZeroStake send orders to an exchange? No. Every order stays inside the app and uses virtual money. ZeroStake is not a broker and has no exchange connection for orders. #### Why did my stop-loss fill at a worse price than the trigger? Because a stop-loss works as a stop-loss market (SL-M) order. Once the price touches the trigger, the exit fills at the next price the app sees. In a fast market, or with LiveFill on, that price can be past the trigger. #### Does LiveFill copy the exchange exactly? No. LiveFill is a practice tool. Its fills are estimates and can differ from a real exchange. It adds friction, so a strategy does not look better in practice than it will trade. #### Are ZeroStake prices the same as my broker's? Close, but not always the same. Prices can arrive with a delay and can differ slightly from an exchange or another data service. Confirm prices with your broker before you trade real money. #### Can I use ZeroStake P&L for taxes? No. ZeroStake P&L comes from virtual trades and estimated charges. It is not a contract note, a tax record or an account statement. ### Keep reading - [FAQ](https://zerostake.app/faq/): Direct answers about markets, orders, LiveFill, options, Replay, review, data and download. - [Stock market simulator India](https://zerostake.app/stock-market-simulator-india/): How a stock market simulator works for NSE, BSE and MCX practice. - [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/): Buy or sell from the chart, drag your stop-loss and target into place, and trail the stop. - [P&L and Trade Journal](https://zerostake.app/portfolio-pnl-review/): P&L Statement, Tag Insights and a Trade Journal for every closed trade. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/) #### [Supertrend](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#supertrend) Supertrend draws one line below the price in an uptrend and above it in a downtrend. It uses ATR to set the distance. In ZeroStake: Add Supertrend to the chart in Historical Replay. [Historical Replay](https://zerostake.app/replay-trading/) ### T #### [Target](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#target) TGT A target is the price where you plan to book your profit. A target order closes the trade when the price reaches it. In ZeroStake: Drag the TGT handle on the chart to set your target. [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/) #### [Theta](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#theta) Theta is how much an option premium falls each day as time passes. [Option Chain](https://zerostake.app/option-chain-practice/) #### [Trailing stop-loss](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#trailing-stop-loss) TSL A trailing stop-loss moves with the price when the trade goes your way and stays put when it does not. It protects a part of your gain. In ZeroStake: In Trade on Chart, tap the stop-loss, tap its pencil and turn on Trailing SL. [Trade on Chart](https://zerostake.app/trade-on-chart/) ### V #### [Vega](https://zerostake.app/glossary/#vega) Vega shows how much an option premium changes when implied volatility moves by one point. URL: https://zerostake.app/faq/ Updated: 2026-10-08 FAQ ## Questions about ZeroStake, answered. The questions people ask before they install a paper trading app, answered first. Many answers show the app at work in a short demo. Can't find yours? Email support@zerostake.in. ### Getting started #### What is ZeroStake? ZeroStake is a paper trading app for Indian markets. You trade NSE, BSE and MCX instruments with virtual money, using charts, option chains, Historical Replay and a Trade Journal. #### Is ZeroStake free? #### I am new to trading. Can I still use it? Yes. A short quiz asks how you like to trade, then a guided tutorial walks you through a first trade on a practice chart. Add more tools as you learn. #### Is ZeroStake a broker, or does it give tips? Neither. ZeroStake is not a stockbroker and is not registered with SEBI as a broker, an investment adviser or a research analyst. It gives no tips, signals or investment advice. ### Markets and prices #### Can I trade F&O and MCX commodities? Yes. You trade NSE and BSE stocks, indices, futures and options, and MCX commodity futures and options. Option chains cover NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCAP SELECT and SENSEX, plus Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, Natural Gas, Copper and Zinc. Crypto, forex and US stocks are not in the app. Option Chain: the strikes scroll, a call opens its contract sheet, then the chain goes back to the spot price. #### Are the prices in the app live? During market hours, ZeroStake follows market prices. A price can arrive late or differ slightly from your broker, so check with your broker before you trade real money. FII and DII data comes once a day. #### Can I trade an index and its option from the same chart? Yes. Trade on Chart stacks the index or futures chart over its option chart. Tap the symbol name to switch to another index or MCX commodity, and the option chart picks the at-the-money strike for you. Trade on Chart: the symbol name opens Select Symbol, NIFTY 50 is picked and its chart loads, then Crude Oil again. #### Can I hold F&O positions overnight? Yes. Choose Till Expiry on the order, and the position can stay open past the day. Choose Intraday, and the app squares it off near the close and adds a square-off charge, as a broker does. You can convert a position between the two. ### Orders and fills #### Which order types can I practise? Market, limit, stop-loss, target, trailing stop-loss, after-market (AMO) and GTT orders, intraday or delivery, and F&O to expiry. Some of them, such as limit, AMO and GTT, need ZeroStake Pro. Order ticket: the quantity goes up, the product changes to intraday, a stop-loss is added in percent, then a swipe places the order. #### How does a stop-loss fill? A stop-loss works like a stop-loss market (SL-M) order. When the price reaches your trigger, the exit fills at the next price, which can be at the trigger, better or worse. GTT orders also offer limit exits: SL-L and TGT-L. Trade on Chart: a buy, a tap on the position, a stop-loss dragged under the entry and saved, then the price falls to the stop-loss and the exit fills. #### Can I set a trailing stop-loss? Yes, on the chart: tap the stop-loss, tap its pencil and turn on Trailing SL. Set the rule: each time the price moves your way by one amount, the stop moves by another. Save, and the stop follows the price but never moves back. Trailing stops need ZeroStake Pro. Trade on Chart: a tap on the stop-loss and its pencil opens the stop-loss dialog, Trailing SL is turned on, the rule is typed and saved, then the stop-loss follows the price up. #### Which LiveFill level should I use? Medium or Hard. Easy forgives a lot, so it can make a strategy look better than it will trade. Without LiveFill, every order fills in full, at once, at the last price. #### Does ZeroStake count brokerage and taxes? Yes. Every trade shows estimated brokerage, STT or CTT, exchange charges, SEBI fee, stamp duty, GST and the DP charge, and net P&L subtracts them. With ZeroStake Pro, you can set your own broker's brokerage. Your broker's contract note can differ. #### Can I set my own brokerage? Yes, with ZeroStake Pro. In Tools, open Custom Brokerage and set the brokerage for equity delivery and intraday, futures and options: a percentage, a flat amount in rupees, or the lower or higher of the two, plus your broker's DP fee. Exchange charges, the depository fee and taxes follow official rates, so you cannot change them. To see each charge before you trade, tap the charges on the order screen. Custom Brokerage: the Options card changes to Flat Rs, 20 is typed as the amount, the example updates, and Save Changes shows a confirmation. #### Can I close all my positions at once? Yes. One swipe on Exit All closes every open position. Filter or select trades first, and the swipe exits only those. One-swipe exit is part of ZeroStake Pro. Positions: one swipe on Exit All. #### Will my results match real trading? Not exactly. There is no exchange queue, and charges and margins are estimates. LiveFill makes fills harder, but its fills are estimates too. Treat your results as practice, not as proof that a strategy will make money. ### Practice and review #### Can I practise with past market sessions? Yes, at any hour. Historical Replay plays a real past NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY or SENSEX session candle by candle, at up to 24x. You buy and sell with a stop-loss and a target, and the positions sheet shows your realized P&L, win rate, wins and losses. Historical Replay: a past session plays fast, a buy, a sell, then the Replay Positions sheet shows the result. #### Can I reset my virtual money? Yes. You start with ₹5 lakh of virtual money, and you can reset to it at any time. With ZeroStake Pro, you can set any amount from ₹10 to ₹10 crore. #### How do I keep a trade journal? Open a closed trade from Trades to Review, answer your questions, pick tags, add a note and save. You can also tag several selected trades at once, or write one review for the whole day. Tag Insights then show your win rate and P&L for each tag. Trade Journal: Trades to Review opens, a trade is picked, the answers are typed, two tags are picked, then Save. #### Can I share or export my P&L? Yes. Pick the P&L Statement sections you want, then share them as one image or save it to your phone. Ask AI exports your statement data with a ready prompt to the AI app you choose. ZeroStake does not judge your trades for you. P&L Statement: the net P&L counts up, then a finger slides across the P&L curve. ### Your data and devices #### How do I reset my account and start fresh? In Tools, go to the end, tap Delete Account (Clear Data if you have no account) and confirm. Then sign in again with the same account, and you start with no trades and ₹5 lakh of virtual money. Your ZeroStake Pro access stays, but its cloud backup is deleted too. To reset only your virtual money, open Funds in Tools. Tools: the Delete Account card opens a confirmation. The account email is typed in, and the Delete Account button turns on. #### Is my data safe? Your practice data lives on your phone, and no real money moves, so there are no bank details to protect. ZeroStake Pro accounts can back up with Backup Now in Tools and get the backup back when they sign in on a new phone. In Tools, you can delete your account, or clear your data if you use the app as a guest. #### Does it work on iPhone and Android? Yes. Get it on Google Play for Android 7.0 or later, or on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later. Open zerostake.app/get on your phone, and it picks the right store. ### Keep reading - [Features](https://zerostake.app/features/): Every ZeroStake tool: orders and GTT, LiveFill, baskets, charts, options, Replay, Analyze and review. - [Glossary](https://zerostake.app/glossary/): Plain definitions of trading terms, from stop-loss to max pain. - [How the simulator works](https://zerostake.app/market-data-and-simulation-methodology/): How ZeroStake fills orders, what LiveFill changes, how charges are estimated and where practice differs from real trading. - [Beginner guide](https://zerostake.app/virtual-trading-for-beginners-india/): Your first virtual trade in India, step by step, with the words you need. ### Practise it on your phone tonight. See who it is for and how we think. URL: https://zerostake.app/about/ Updated: 2026-10-08 About ## We built ZeroStake so your first lessons cost nothing but time. ZeroStake is a paper trading app for Indian markets. You trade NSE, BSE and MCX instruments with virtual money, using charts, option chains, Historical Replay and a Trade Journal. We built it because most people learn to trade with real money, and the market charges for every lesson. **Markets** NSE, BSE, MCX **Platforms** Android, iPhone, iPad ### Why does ZeroStake exist? Most new traders open a demat account, buy an option on a tip and learn the hard way. The lesson is real, and so is the bill. We think practice should come first. A pilot trains in a simulator before a real flight. A trader can do the same. So ZeroStake gives you the tools a trader uses every day: charts, order types, exits, option chains, replay and a journal. You use them all before you risk a rupee. ### Who is ZeroStake for? - Beginners who want to learn how orders, stop-losses and P&L work before they open a real position. - Traders who move into F&O and want to understand option chains, the Greeks and strategies first. - Experienced traders who want to test a new setup on past sessions, or practise discipline on exits. - Students and anyone who follows NIFTY and SENSEX and wants to act on an idea without the risk. ### How do we think about honest practice? Practice is only useful when it feels real. So the charts, option chains and market lists in ZeroStake follow Indian markets. LiveFill goes further: turn it on, and your orders can fill in parts and at a worse price, as they can on a real day. We also say plainly where practice is different. Your order does not wait in an exchange queue, and by default it fills at once. Fear and greed feel smaller when the money is virtual. The [methodology page](https://zerostake.app/market-data-and-simulation-methodology/) explains each difference. We do not give tips, signals or advice. We do not sell courses or mentorship. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app. **iOS End User License Agreement:** If you use ZeroStake on iOS, your license to the app is governed by [Apple's Standard End User License Agreement](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). These Terms still explain ZeroStake's Pro plans, support, simulator rules, and privacy practices. #### 1\. What ZeroStake Is ZeroStake is a **virtual trading simulation** designed for educational and entertainment purposes. All trades, funds, profits, losses, and portfolio values within the app are entirely fictional. **No real money, real securities, or real financial instruments are involved at any point.** ZeroStake is **not** a stockbroker, financial advisor, investment platform, or trading terminal. Nothing in the app should be interpreted as financial advice. Any decisions you make in real markets based on your experience with ZeroStake are entirely your own responsibility. ##### Educational Simulation ZeroStake does not execute real securities transactions or accept money for investment. Simulated trading results may differ substantially from live-market results because of liquidity, slippage, execution, taxes, transaction costs, and other market conditions. ZeroStake does not guarantee returns or improved trading performance. ZeroStake is not registered with SEBI as a stock broker, Investment Adviser, or Research Analyst and does not provide investment advice or securities recommendations. ##### Simulated Stop-Loss and Target Execution Within the App, a stop-loss placed through the regular order flow or the after-market order (AMO) flow operates as a **Stop Loss-Market (SL-M)** order. When its trigger is reached, the App executes it using market-style simulation at the then-current simulated price. The trigger price activates the order; it is not a guaranteed execution price. The simulated execution may therefore be at the trigger, better than the trigger, or worse than the trigger. An AMO remains held until its applicable market session becomes eligible and then follows the same execution rule. A target configured to execute at market operates as **Target-Market (TGT-M)**. In the App it is executed using the trigger-crossing simulated price. In a real market, a market order released after a target trigger can execute worse than the target because the available market price may change before the order is matched. Within the App, separate trigger and limit prices for a protective exit are available only through the **Good Till Triggered (GTT)** order flow when **Limit** is selected for that exit. These are simulated **Stop Loss-Limit (SL-L)** and **Target-Limit (TGT-L)** orders. Reaching the trigger places a simulated limit order at the separately selected limit price; it does not execute the order as a market order or replace the selected limit with the trigger price. A sell limit executes only at the limit price or higher, and a buy limit executes only at the limit price or lower. If no qualifying simulated price is available, the order remains pending and may later lapse, expire, or be cancelled under the App's applicable rules. Selecting **Market** for a GTT exit instead uses SL-M or TGT-M behavior. ZeroStake evaluates these orders using market-data ticks or last traded price (LTP). It does not reproduce exchange order-book depth, bid-ask spread, queue priority, available liquidity, partial fills, or exchange matching. The simulation is therefore not a one-to-one reproduction of execution on a real exchange. #### 2\. Who This App Is For ZeroStake targets users aged **18 and above**. By using the app, you acknowledge that you understand the virtual and simulated nature of the platform and that no real financial transactions take place. #### 3\. Your Account When you sign in, you create an account linked to your selected sign-in provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Please don't share your login with others. Backups are created only when you use **Backup Now**. Before reinstalling the app, clearing app data, or switching devices, create a backup from the **Tools** section first. To reduce sync conflicts, sign out on one device before signing in on another. We may not be able to restore data that was not backed up. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in any activity we consider harmful to the service or its users. #### 4\. Free & Pro Plans ZeroStake offers a **free version** with limited access to the virtual trading experience. The App shows the features and limits available to your account before you use them. An active **Pro plan** unlocks additional premium features as described on the "Upgrade to Pro" screen within the App. Available plans may vary by app store, device, account and time. The purchase screen shows the plans currently available to you and identifies each plan as recurring or non-recurring before purchase. Any “up to 12× faster price updates” claim describes the maximum relative update frequency available with Pro. Actual update frequency varies by scrip and its volatility, and a constant 12× rate is not guaranteed. Pro access lasts until the end of the plan term confirmed by the App or app store. A recurring plan renews automatically unless cancelled. Cancelling normally stops the next renewal while Pro access continues until the end of the current paid or trial period, subject to the app store's cancellation and refund rules. A non-recurring plan ends after its displayed duration and does not renew. When Pro access ends, the account returns to the free plan, Pro features become unavailable, and virtual trading funds are reset to the standard free-plan baseline balance. If an account exceeds a free-plan portfolio limit when Pro ends, its existing holdings and positions are not closed solely because of that limit. Orders that would introduce another active symbol may be rejected until the account is below the applicable free-plan limit. ##### Other Pro Capacity and Expiry Effects 1. Pro users can set custom virtual funds from ₹10 up to ₹10,00,00,000 (₹10 crore). Upgrading does not automatically set the account balance to ₹10 crore. 2. Pro supports up to ten (10) watchlists with up to twenty (20) stocks in each watchlist. Free supports one (1) watchlist with up to five (5) stocks. 3. When Pro ends, watchlist data is permanently reduced to the first watchlist and the first five stocks in that watchlist. Other watchlists and stocks removed by this reduction may not be recoverable. 4. Chart-drawing storage limits depend on the chart experience. Free currently stores drawings for up to five (5) or ten (10) symbols or chart URLs, while Pro stores drawings for up to ten (10) or twenty (20). When Pro ends, saved drawings above the applicable free limit may be permanently removed, generally retaining the most recently saved entries. ##### Daily Order Allowances Free accounts receive the daily order allowance displayed in the App for that account and day. The standard free allowance is three (3) orders per day. Some accounts may receive a different displayed allowance or earn additional bonus orders by watching eligible advertisements. Where the phrase “Unlimited Orders Per Day” appears, it means only that the App does not impose a numerical daily order-count quota while the user’s Pro plan is active. It does not mean unlimited pending orders, AMO orders, GTT triggers, active holdings, active positions, order size or volume, or guaranteed order acceptance or execution. ##### Active Portfolio and Pending-Order Limits The following limits apply at one time: 1. A free account may maintain up to thirty (30) unique active holdings. 2. A free account may separately maintain up to thirty (30) unique active positions. 3. A Pro account may maintain up to one hundred (100) unique active holdings. 4. A Pro account may separately maintain up to one hundred (100) unique active positions. 5. A Pro account may have up to twenty (20) regular pending orders. 6. A Pro account may separately have up to twenty (20) after-market orders (AMO). 7. An account with access to Good Till Triggered (GTT) orders may separately have up to twenty (20) active GTT triggers. Each standing trigger, including a dormant protective trigger, counts separately, so one GTT setup may use more than one GTT slot. 8. An “Active Holding” means a distinct delivery-trading symbol with a non-zero, unclosed quantity. 9. An “Active Position” means a distinct symbol classified by the App as a position, including applicable intraday or derivatives positions, with a non-zero, unclosed quantity. 10. Multiple trades involving the same already-active symbol count as one active holding or position. 11. When the applicable limit is reached, an order that would introduce an additional active symbol will be rejected until an existing holding or position in that category is fully exited or closed. Orders that add to, reduce, or exit an already-active symbol may remain permitted. The regular pending-order, AMO and GTT limits are separate simultaneous limits, not daily or lifetime limits. A slot becomes available when an order or trigger is no longer pending or active. All orders remain subject to available virtual funds or margin, instrument eligibility, market conditions and hours, risk-management controls, technical availability, and other restrictions disclosed within the App. #### 5\. Purchases & Refunds The free version gives you enough access to evaluate the simulator before purchasing. If you upgrade, all billing and plan controls stay inside the official app store you use: - Pro purchases are billed through Google Play Store on Android or the App Store on iOS inside the App. - The purchase screen shows the current price, duration, trial terms, renewal status and included features for the selected plan before purchase. - Recurring plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Non-recurring plans charge once for the displayed duration and do not renew. - Billing, renewal, cancellation, expiry, and any refund decisions are handled under that store's policies. - If you need billing help, start from your app store purchase or subscription settings and then contact us at [support@zerostake.in](mailto:support@zerostake.in) if something still looks wrong. - We may change future pricing or plan features, subject to applicable law and the terms of the app store used for purchase. The current price, billing period, renewal terms, and included features will be shown before purchase. Changes to renewal pricing apply only as disclosed through the relevant app store. #### 6\. Things You Must Not Do To keep ZeroStake fair and safe for everyone, you agree not to: - **Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify** the app or any part of it. - **Distribute, share, or make available** modified, cracked, patched, or pirated versions of the app. This may result in account suspension, loss of access, and legal action where appropriate. - **Circumvent** any security measures, license checks, Pro-plan verification, or feature restrictions. - **Use bots, scripts, or automated tools** to interact with the app or its services. - **Impersonate** ZeroStake, its team, or any of its representatives. - **Attempt to disrupt** the app's infrastructure, servers, or services in any way. #### 7\. Beware of Impostors Let us be clear about what we do and don't offer: - ZeroStake **does not provide** paid courses, mentorship programs, trading tips, advisory services, or any offerings outside of the app itself. - If anyone contacts you claiming to represent ZeroStake and offering such services, **they are not affiliated with us**. Please do not engage with them. - Our **only paid offering** is an in-app Pro plan, which can only be purchased through Google Play Store on Android or the App Store on iOS within the app. - We will never ask you for money outside of the official app stores. #### 8\. You may also choose to stop using the app and delete your account at any time through the app's settings or by contacting us. #### 13\.
