Your privacy matters to us. ZeroStake ("we", "our", or "us") is a virtual trading application built for learning and practice. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. We aim to be straightforward — no surprises.

1. Nature of the App

ZeroStake is a virtual trading platform. Everything in the app — trades, funds, portfolios, profits, and losses — is simulated. No real money is involved, traded, or at risk. Think of it as a safe space to learn and experiment with trading.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect what we need to make the app work well for you:

• Email Address: Collected via Google Sign-In to create and manage your account.
• Device Details: Basic information about your device to help us diagnose crashes and keep your account secure.
• Usage Patterns: General information about how the app is used, such as screens visited and in-app interactions, to help us understand what works well and improve the overall experience.
• Virtual Trading Data: Your simulated portfolio, orders, and positions — this is what makes the app work for you.
• Subscription Status: Whether you're on the free or Pro plan, so we can provide you the right experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

Everything we collect has a clear purpose:

• To provide and maintain the virtual trading experience.
• To sign you in and support your data across devices when you back up before switching devices.
• To send you helpful notifications — like when your orders execute.
• To process in-app purchases securely.
• To back up and restore your data when you use Backup Now.
• To analyze app usage patterns, diagnose issues, and continuously improve app quality and performance.
• To show ads if you're on the free plan.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted services to keep the app running:

• Google Firebase: For signing you in, sending notifications, understanding app usage, and managing settings.
• Google Play Store and App Store: For processing Pro subscriptions inside the app.
• Advertising Partners: To show ads in the free version. Pro users enjoy an ad-free experience. These partners may use device or advertising identifiers to show and measure ads, subject to their own privacy policies and your device settings.
• Cloudflare: For hosting and delivering content quickly and reliably.

Each of these services has their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies if you'd like to learn more.

5. Data Security

We take your data seriously. Backups you create through the app are encrypted, and we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. Backups are not created automatically. If you want a recoverable copy of your data, you must use the Backup Now button in the Tools section. While no system is perfect, we do our best to keep your data safe.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like us to delete your account and associated data, just reach out to us and we'll take care of it.

7. Your Choices

You're always in control:

• You can ask us to delete your account and data.
• You can turn off push notifications from your device settings.
• You can clear your app data from within the app's settings.

8. Children's Privacy

ZeroStake is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to check back occasionally.

Welcome to ZeroStake. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

iOS End User License Agreement: If you use ZeroStake on iOS, your license to the app is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms still explain ZeroStake's subscriptions, support, simulator rules, and privacy practices.

1. What ZeroStake Is

ZeroStake is a virtual trading simulation designed for educational and entertainment purposes. All trades, funds, profits, losses, and portfolio values within the app are entirely fictional. No real money, real securities, or real financial instruments are involved at any point.

ZeroStake is not a stockbroker, financial advisor, investment platform, or trading terminal. Nothing in the app should be interpreted as financial advice. Any decisions you make in real markets based on your experience with ZeroStake are entirely your own responsibility.

2. Who This App Is For

ZeroStake targets users aged 18 and above. By using the app, you acknowledge that you understand the virtual and simulated nature of the platform and that no real financial transactions take place.

3. Your Account

When you sign in, you create an account linked to your Google credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Please don't share your login with others.

Backups are not created automatically. If you want a recoverable copy of your data, you must use the Backup Now button in the Tools section before reinstalling the app, clearing app data, changing devices, or taking any other step that could affect stored data.

Backups are created only when you use Backup Now. Before reinstalling the app, clearing app data, or switching devices, create a backup first. To reduce sync conflicts, sign out on one device before signing in on another. We may not be able to restore data that was not backed up.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in any activity we consider harmful to the service or its users.

4. Free & Pro Plans

ZeroStake offers a free version that provides complete access to the core virtual trading experience. The free version functions as a full trial of the platform — you can explore, trade, and learn without spending anything.

The Pro subscription unlocks additional premium features as described on the "Upgrade to Pro" screen within the app. These are enhancements built on top of the free experience.

5. Purchases & Refunds

The free version gives you enough access to evaluate the simulator before purchasing. If you upgrade, billing and subscription controls stay inside the official app store you use:

• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Store on Android or the App Store on iOS inside the app.
• Billing, renewal, cancellation, and any refund decisions are handled under that store's policies.
• If you need billing help, start from your app store subscription settings and then contact us at [email protected] if something still looks wrong.
• We reserve the right to change pricing or modify the features included in any plan at any time.

6. Things You Must Not Do

To keep ZeroStake fair and safe for everyone, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the app or any part of it.
• Distribute, share, or make available modified, cracked, patched, or pirated versions of the app. This may result in account suspension, loss of access, and legal action where appropriate.
• Circumvent any security measures, license checks, subscription verification, or feature restrictions.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the app or its services.
• Impersonate ZeroStake, its team, or any of its representatives.
• Attempt to disrupt the app's infrastructure, servers, or services in any way.

7. Beware of Impostors

Let us be clear about what we do and don't offer:

• ZeroStake does not provide paid courses, mentorship programs, trading tips, advisory services, or any offerings outside of the app itself.
• If anyone contacts you claiming to represent ZeroStake and offering such services, they are not affiliated with us. Please do not engage with them.
• Our only paid offering is the in-app Pro subscription, which can only be purchased through Google Play Store on Android or the App Store on iOS within the app.
• We will never ask you for money outside of the official app stores.

8. Market Data

Any market data, stock prices, or financial information displayed within the app is intended solely for the purpose of simulation. It may not reflect real-time market conditions and should never be relied upon for actual trading or investment decisions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content within ZeroStake — including the code, design, user interface, graphics, logos, and branding — is the intellectual property of ZeroStake and is protected by applicable laws. Except for a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use ZeroStake in accordance with these Terms, all rights in the app and its content remain the property of ZeroStake.

10. No Warranties

ZeroStake is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties of any kind — whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be available at all times or free from errors.
• The simulated data will be accurate or mirror real market conditions.
• Your virtual trading performance will reflect or predict real-world trading outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• ZeroStake shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
• We are not responsible for any real-world trading or financial decisions you make based on your experience with this simulation.
• Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you have paid for your subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to ZeroStake at our discretion if we believe you have violated these terms. You may also choose to stop using the app and delete your account at any time through the app's settings or by contacting us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
